How to cancel Canva

Steps

1. Log in to the Canva account or team that pays. Only owners and admins can cancel paid plans.
2. On the homepage, select your account profile to open the menu, then Settings.
3. Go to Billing. On your plan, select Cancel plan.
4. Select Continue cancellation, choose a reason, and select Continue cancellation again.
5. Select Cancel subscription. You'll get a confirmation email.

Notice period

None. Cancel before your current paid period ends to stop the next renewal; the Billing page shows the date. You keep paid features until the period ends.

Refunds and fees

Canva says that in most cases subscriptions aren't refundable, as set out in its Terms of Use, but it reviews every request. Approved refunds take 5–10 business days to a card and 3–5 to PayPal. App Store subscriptions are refunded by Apple, not Canva.

If you pay through an app store, PayPal, or another company

• Check who charges you. Canva says your statement shows Canva, Canva*[invoice id], APPLE*Canva, or GOOGLE*Canva. Canva tells you to check your billing email or statement to see whether Canva, Google, Apple, or PayPal charged you.
• App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Canva → Cancel Subscription. Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel.
• Google Play: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Canva → Cancel subscription.
• PayPal: cancel in Canva first. To stop PayPal paying Canva too, go to PayPal Settings → Payments, open the recurring-payments section, select Canva, and cancel.

Offers you may see before you leave

• Pause for 3 months. Offered inside the cancel flow ("I want to pause my subscription"). No charges during the pause; Canva emails a reminder before it resumes. Annual plans can be paused only when less than 2 months remain before renewal.
• Undo. Until the period ends, Billing shows a Stay on [plan] button.
• Cancelling a Canva Teams plan is permanent. Designs, Brand Kit content and shared folders stay on Canva Free.

If it doesn't work

• Can't see Cancel plan? Make sure you're in the account or team that pays, and that you're an owner or admin.
• Contact Canva through its help center with a screenshot of the subscribed account and a copy of the invoice.

To: Canva support (help center contact form). Canva's steps are in your account settings. Use this text if they fail, and keep a copy. Replace the [BRACKETED] fields.

Subject: Please cancel my Canva plan

Hello,

Please cancel the [PLAN NAME] plan on the Canva account [ACCOUNT EMAIL] at the end of the current billing period and stop all future charges. I don't want to pause the plan.

I tried to cancel in Settings > Billing on [DATE] but [DESCRIBE WHAT HAPPENED]. A screenshot and my latest invoice ([INVOICE NUMBER]) are attached.

Please confirm the cancellation and the date my paid features end in writing.
